New Research Finds Faster Way to Check Quality of Drinking Water
New research from the University of South Australia has found a faster way to identify the quality of drinking water dispensed through activated carbon water filters. Previously, a multiple step process was used to determine the presence of harmful chemicals in the water however this new testing method would provide a more efficient measurement. The research, undertaken in partnership with water filtration company Puratap, also confirmed that between 11 and 12 months – or 2,000 litres of filtered water – is the right time span or quantity of water used before a new water filter is required to ensure the purity of drinking water is maintained.
Puratap is proud to announce that this research conducted by Dr Martin Sweetman has now been published in a white paper.
